Gummys Partners with Polygon Studios to Expand its Functions on Web3 Streaming Platform

Gummys, the Web3 decentralized video sharing and streaming platform, is today thrilled to announce its partnership with Polygon, the suite of Ethereum scaling network onboarding millions to Web3.

Through this integration, Gummys will offer new functionalities and integrations on its video platform, like the ability to send MATIC donations to content creators, and the minting of NFTs from videos on Polygon Network.

Gummys’ featured product, the Gummys TV video content platform, involves users watching or streaming content and making donations to their favorite content creators. Viewers can also earn a portion of the revenue on Gummys TV through watching, liking, and sharing videos. The integration with Polygon will allow users to support their favorite content creators using Polygon’s native MATIC token.

Users can also mint unique NFTs from their videos on carbon-neutral Polygon Network and distribute them to their audience and subscribers. The Polygon blockchain employs numerous CO2 sequestration techniques to make its NFTs completely carbon-neutral, and the project aims to be entirely carbon-negative by the end of 2022.

The integration of the MATIC token will allow Gummys to expand its active audience to the many holders of one of the most popular cryptocurrencies and DeFi platforms in the industry.
